Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have had a blood test for NT-proBNP as part of your regular care, ordered by your primary care doctor for possible heart failure.
  • You must be able to give your informed consent (understand and agree to take part).
  • You cannot have been diagnosed with heart failure before or be having an acute episode of heart failure.
  • You must be able to travel to the study center and complete all study visits.
