Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You have sprained your ankle at least once in the past year and still have some issues from it, or you've had repeated ankle sprains in the past year.
  • You have felt like your ankle is 'giving way' or is unstable in the last 3 months.
  • You score 27 or lower on the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (a short questionnaire about ankle stability).
  • You have not had any fractures or surgeries on your legs or feet, and no leg injury in the last 3 months.
  • You have not sprained your ankle in the last 6 weeks.
