Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 44 years old
  • You have sprained your ankle at least once
  • You have had your ankle give way (feel unstable) at least two times in the past six months
  • You score less than 24 on a standard ankle instability quiz (the study will check this)
  • You have not sprained your ankle in the last 6 weeks that caused you to miss physical activity
  • You have no history of ankle surgery or lower-leg fracture in the past year
