Who can take part
- You have newly diagnosed (untreated) B-cell ALL or lymphoblastic lymphoma, or you just got complete remission after one induction chemo course
- You can receive helpful medicines like steroids or (ara-C or Hydrea) before the final treatment plan is set
- You are able to do daily activities fairly well (performance status 0 to 3)
- Your kidneys and liver blood tests are not too high (creatinine ≤ 2.0 mg/dL and bilirubin ≤ 2.0)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can sign the consent form
- You do not have certain brain/CNS conditions (like seizures or stroke history) caused by other illnesses
