T-Cell Therapy for Advanced Prostate Cancer with Bone Spread

Metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer

This trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy (gamma delta T cells) targeted at a marker on prostate cancer cells to see if it can shrink bone metastases in advanced, castration-resistant prostate cancer. It’s for men who have already tried chemotherapy and newer hormone therapies and whose cancer is getting worse.

Who can take part

  • Your prostate cancer has spread to your bones and is getting worse
  • You have already tried chemotherapy and at least one newer hormone therapy (like abiraterone or enzalutamide)
  • You need to be on a bone-strengthening medicine (zoledronic acid) either already or start taking it before the treatment
  • You have not had any other cancer treatment (like chemo, radiation, or immunotherapy) for at least 3 weeks before the T-cell infusion, and no radium or Pluvicto in the past 3 months
  • Your heart, kidney, liver, and blood counts are in good enough shape, and you do not have serious heart disease, active infections, or other major health issues
  • You must be willing to use effective birth control if you could father a child
