First-in-human study of HyperQure for resistant hypertension

Who can take part

  • You are between 19 and 79 years old
  • You have resistant hypertension and take at least 3 blood pressure medications, including a diuretic, and have been on the same doses for at least 4 weeks
  • Your blood pressure in the office is 140/90 or higher, and daytime average systolic blood pressure is 135 or higher
  • You do not have severe kidney problems, kidney artery narrowing, or other conditions that would make the procedure unsafe
  • You are willing to continue your current blood pressure medications for at least 3 months after the procedure
