Who can take part
- You are between 22 and 80 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with resistant hypertension (high blood pressure that doesn't respond well to multiple medications).
- Your blood pressure is at least 140/90 in the doctor's office and 135/85 on a 24-hour monitor, even while taking at least three different blood pressure pills including a water pill.
- You have not had a kidney denervation procedure before, and your kidneys and renal arteries are healthy enough for the surgery.
- You do not have severe obesity (BMI over 40), cannot work night shifts, and do not have other serious health issues like recent heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure.
