Who can take part

  • You have had low red blood cells, white blood cells, or platelets for at least 6 months without a clear cause.
  • You have an IDH2 gene mutation (R140 or R172) found in a blood or bone marrow test.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are able to take care of yourself (able to go about daily activities with little or no help).
  • You have not had a bone marrow biopsy showing a blood cancer or other serious blood disorder in the last 6 months.
  • You do not have active cancer (excluding skin cancer) that requires treatment.
