Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have a new arteriovenous fistula (AVF) in your wrist that hasn't been used for dialysis yet.
  • Before surgery, an ultrasound showed that your wrist artery is wider than 1.5 mm and your vein is wider than 2 mm, with good blood flow.
  • You are not pregnant, and you do not have active infections, serious heart problems, or recent strokes.
  • You are willing to follow the study's rules about dialysis and medications.
