Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a new, high-grade brain tumor (glioma) seen on scans.
  • Your daily functioning (KPS score) is at least 60 out of 100.
  • You have not been treated with drugs like Avastin (bevacizumab) before.
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease.
  • You have not had a blood clot in the past 6 months.
  • You do not have active infections like tuberculosis or hepatitis.
  • Your blood pressure is well controlled, and you have no bleeding problems or unhealed wounds.
