- You have been diagnosed with asthma by a doctor
- You must be willing to give written consent to join
- You have not been sick or had an asthma attack in the last 4 weeks
- You have never had a hole in your nose or nose surgery, and no nasal polyps
- You do not have a bleeding problem, heart disease, or a weak immune system
- You have not smoked tobacco or marijuana in the last 2 months and have less than a 10 pack-year smoking history
