Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have a slow heart rhythm that causes symptoms like dizziness, fainting, or pauses in heartbeat, or your heart rate is very slow (under 30 beats per minute) even without symptoms.
  • Your heart rhythm speeds up by at least 25% (or above 90 beats per minute) during exercise or after a medication test with atropine.
  • You are in normal sinus rhythm at the time of the procedure.
  • You do not have a pacemaker or similar device already implanted.
  • You are not taking certain heart rhythm medications (like for extra beats or atrial fibrillation) on a regular basis.
