Who can take part
- You are 20 years old or older.
- You have tried at least two seizure medications at high doses without success (drug-resistant epilepsy).
- You have had seizure records for at least one month before the trial.
- You have had a complete pre-surgery checkup including EEG, MRI, and a PET scan.
- Your skull density ratio is 0.3 or greater (checked by CT scan).
- You can fit inside an MRI machine and tolerate the scan, and your body type allows this.
- You are able to communicate with the doctor and describe what you're feeling during the procedure (no general anesthesia).
- You can voluntarily press a stop button during treatment.
- You agree to have your hair shaved at the treatment area.
