Who can take part
- You are a child or teenager between 2 months and 17 years old with cancer
- You have a fever (temperature of 38°C or higher) and a low white blood cell count (neutropenia) caused by your cancer or chemotherapy
- You have normal or only mildly reduced kidney function (not on dialysis or with severe kidney failure)
- You are not pregnant (if applicable)
- You or your parents can understand French (if you are older than 11, you must speak French too)
- At least 2 weeks have passed since your last antibiotic treatment for a similar fever episode
