This study tests a new live bacteria product (EXL01) given with vancomycin to prevent C. diff from coming back. It is for people who have already had C. diff two or more times and are at high risk of another infection.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have had C. diff infection at least 2 times in the last 6 months (with your most recent infection ending within the last 12 weeks).
- If this is your second episode, you also have at least one risk factor like being 70 or older, kidney failure, a history of severe C. diff, or having C. diff during a recent hospital stay.
- You are currently taking or plan to take vancomycin (an antibiotic) by mouth.
- You do not have a current severe C. diff infection, have not had major bowel surgery, and do not have a stoma.
