Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with alcohol dependence (alcoholism).
  • You need to have stopped drinking for at least 3 days and no longer than 12 months.
  • You cannot have had a problem with any other drug in the last year.
  • You cannot have a neurological condition like epilepsy, nerve damage, or multiple sclerosis.
  • You cannot have severe depression, mania, or schizophrenia right now.
  • You cannot be taking seizure medication or strong antipsychotics.
