Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with heart failure for more than 6 months
  • Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is below 50%
  • You take a 'water pill' (loop diuretic) for heart failure
  • You need a right heart catheterization to check heart and lung pressures
  • You are older than 18 years
  • You do not have severe kidney disease, unstable heart condition, or severe lung disease
