Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old
- You are currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) and have an arterial line (a small tube in an artery for monitoring)
- You need daily medication to prevent blood clots (thromboprophylaxis)
- You have either severe kidney failure (stage 2 or more) with or without CVVH, or normal kidney function
- You weigh between 50 and 120 kilograms
