Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a confirmed pulmonary embolism (blood clot in your lungs) with moderate-high risk, diagnosed within the last 2 weeks.
  • Imaging shows the clot is causing strain on the right side of your heart.
  • You have signs of possible instability, like low blood pressure, fast breathing, low oxygen, or heart failure.
  • You have an elevated level of a heart enzyme called troponin I in your blood.
  • You agree to use reliable birth control during the study and for 3 weeks after (if applicable).
