Who can take part
- You must have symptoms of a blood clot in your lung that started 15 days ago or less.
- A CT scan must show a clot in a main lung artery and that the right side of your heart is straining.
- Your doctor must have told you your condition is 'intermediate risk' — serious but not immediately life-threatening.
- You cannot have had a stroke that left you with one-sided weakness, major surgery in the last 10 days, or certain other medical issues.
- You must be willing to come back for check-ups at 7 and 30 days after treatment.
