Who can take part
- You are 18 or older
- You are being treated at Sheffield Teaching Hospital
- You had a specific type of brain bleed (aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage) confirmed by imaging
- Your aneurysm was secured (coiled or surgically repaired) within the last 5 days
- You have never used a vagus nerve stimulator before
- You do not have a very slow heart rate, a pacemaker, or a complete heart block, or another implanted electrical device
