Who can take part
- Exercise for more than 2.5 hours each week
- Aged 18 to 26 years old
- Diagnosed with exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction (a condition where your vocal cords tighten during exercise)
- Breathing is harder during exercise than at rest, and it takes 1-5 minutes to feel better after stopping
- Score 7 or higher on a breathing difficulty questionnaire
- No history of asthma, heart disease, seizures, or other major health problems
- No implants like pacemakers, cochlear implants, or metal devices in your body
- Not pregnant, not a smoker, and have a body mass index under 25
