Who can take part

  • You have severe aplastic anemia or another acquired bone marrow failure condition (like PNH, pure red cell aplasia, or amegakaryocytic thrombocytopenia).
  • Your blood counts are very low (e.g., low platelets, low neutrophils, or low reticulocytes) and you may need transfusions.
  • You have a donor available for a stem cell transplant and are willing to undergo a reduced-intensity transplant.
  • You do not have an uncontrolled infection, severe liver scarring, or a known inherited bone marrow failure disorder.
  • You are not pregnant and agree to use birth control if needed.
