  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a subdural hematoma (a type of bleeding in the brain).
  • You are currently taking aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) for any reason.
  • You are not taking any other blood thinner (like warfarin or apixaban) or a combination of two antiplatelet drugs.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
