Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You work rotating night shifts (at least 5 nights per month) for at least one year and do not plan to change shifts during the study
  • Your LDL (bad) cholesterol is between 116 and 190 mg/dL and you are not taking cholesterol-lowering medications
  • You are not currently taking certain supplements (like vitamins, omega-3, or herbal extracts) or weight loss medications
  • You do not have a body mass index (BMI) over 30, are not a smoker, and do not have certain health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, or cancer
