Targeted gene therapy for hard-to-treat retinoblastoma

Who can take part

  • You have active retinoblastoma tumor in only one eye (the other eye is either already removed or has no tumor).
  • Standard treatments (like chemotherapy or radiation) have not worked or the tumor has come back, and your doctor says removing the eye is the only option left, but you want to try to save the eye.
  • Your child must be older than 6 months at the start of the study.
  • Your child's kidneys and liver must be working normally (blood tests will check this).
  • You must not have any infections, uncontrolled seizures, heart problems, or a weakened immune system.
