  • You are between 16 and 65 years old.
  • You have a disorder of consciousness (like locked-in syndrome) and can show some ability to think clearly, even if you communicate in a unique way.
  • Your doctors have confirmed you are medically stable enough to take part in a rehabilitation program.
  • You have had brain tests (like EEG) that show your brain is active and responding.
  • You are not in a coma, and you do not have an open wound on your scalp or other unstable medical conditions.
