Who can take part

  • You have had a stroke caused by a blockage in a small artery in the front part of your brain
  • The blockage is in the anterior cerebral artery (ACA) or the middle cerebral artery (MCA), in certain segments
  • Your stroke is not in the back part of the brain (posterior circulation)
  • You do not have a separate blockage in the internal carotid artery on the same side (tandem lesion)
