Who can take part

  • You are under 25 years old and have been diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia, meaning your bone marrow is very low in cells and you have low counts of at least two types of blood cells (such as neutrophils, platelets, or reticulocytes).
  • You have not had any previous treatment for severe aplastic anemia.
  • You do not have leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, or an inherited bone marrow failure condition.
  • You are able to take the study medication and follow the treatment plan.
