Who can take part
- You must be between 5 and 17 years old.
- You must have been diagnosed with juvenile dermatomyositis based on specific signs like muscle weakness and skin rashes.
- Your disease must be hard to treat: not responding to steroids and at least two other medicines, or affecting organs like lungs, heart, or gut, or causing calcium deposits under skin or muscles, or having repeated rashes or skin ulcers.
- You must test positive for certain myositis-related antibodies (like MDA-5, NXP2, TIF-1γ, Ro-52, or others).
- Your heart, kidneys, liver, and lungs must be working well enough, as checked by tests.
- You cannot have had CAR-T therapy before, and you must not have serious infections, tumors, or other major health problems.
