Who can take part

  • You have a type of TB that is resistant to rifampicin but not to fluoroquinolones, confirmed by a lab test.
  • You are 14 years or older.
  • You are willing to have home visits and phone calls, and to tell the study team if you move.
  • You can provide consent (or have a parent or guardian do so if you are a minor).
  • Your liver, kidney, and blood counts are within safe ranges (checked by blood tests).
  • If you have HIV, your CD4 count is at least 50 and you are on or starting dolutegravir-based HIV treatment.
