Studying MS brain lesions with iron rims using advanced scans

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).
  • You have at least two brain MRI scans taken at least one year apart.
  • You have MS lesions that show an 'iron rim' (a dark border on certain MRI scans).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You haven't taken corticosteroids (like prednisone) in the last 4 weeks.
  • You are not claustrophobic or prone to panic attacks during scans.
