Who can take part

  • You have brain swelling (radionecrosis) after radiation, and symptoms like headache or weakness persist or get worse despite steroids.
  • You had radiation to your brain for metastases at least 3 months ago.
  • You have never received Avastin (bevacizumab) for this brain swelling.
  • Your overall health is reasonably good (able to care for yourself most of the day).
  • Your kidney, liver, and blood counts are within a safe range for the study drug.
