Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You have severe pneumonia that led to ARDS
- You are in the intensive care unit (ICU)
- You have been on a breathing machine (intubated) for more than 48 hours
- You meet the standard definition for ARDS (rapid onset, low oxygen levels, and both lungs showing cloudiness on chest X-ray)
