Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had a spontaneous (not caused by another condition) brain bleed.
  • You were admitted to a stroke unit within 24 hours of your symptoms starting.
  • You did not have a major disability before this stroke (you could still handle daily tasks on your own).
  • The bleeding is not caused by an aneurysm, tumor, injury, or other known cause.
