Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 60 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with primary aldosteronism (high blood pressure caused by too much aldosterone hormone from your adrenal glands).
- Your doctor has confirmed the aldosterone problem is only in one adrenal gland (using special tests like AVS or PET-CT).
- You do not have severe kidney disease, serious liver problems, or other conditions like certain genetic disorders.
- You have not had a stroke, heart attack, or stent placement in the last 3 months.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy, and you are not allergic to contrast dye (used in imaging tests) or alcohol.
