This study looks at how emotions and memory are affected in people with chronic trigeminal neuralgia (a type of facial nerve pain). Participants will have an MRI scan and fill out questionnaires to help researchers understand the link between chronic pain and cognitive changes.

Who can take part
- You are between 35 and 60 years old.
- You have trigeminal neuralgia (facial nerve pain) that has lasted at least 6 months and was diagnosed by standard criteria.
- You are on stable medications (no recent changes).
- You do not have other chronic pain, untreated high blood pressure or diabetes, or a history of substance use, head injury, or active psychiatric illness.
- You are able to have an MRI scan and complete simple thinking and memory tasks.
