Who can take part

  • You must be a woman aged 18 or older.
  • You must be currently having periods that come at least every 38 days and last at least 2 days.
  • You must have anaemia (low blood iron), confirmed by a finger-prick test at screening.
  • You must not be planning to get pregnant during the trial.
  • You must not be currently taking tranexamic acid, and you must not have conditions that make this drug unsafe (like blood clots, kidney problems, or a history of seizures).
