Arm coordination training after stroke using muscle sensing

This study uses a special muscle-sensing device to help people who had a stroke improve arm coordination. You will play movement games that guide you to use muscles more effectively, which may help you regain control.

Who can take part

  • Age must be between 40 and 75 years old
  • If you've had a stroke, it must be a single stroke on one side of the brain (MCA) and you must be at least 6 months past it
  • You must not have had Botox in your affected arm in the last 3 months
  • No other neurological conditions (like Parkinson's or MS)
  • Must not be pregnant or at risk of pregnancy
  • Must be able to give informed consent
