Who can take part

  • You are receiving rehabilitation medicine services after an acute illness or injury.
  • Your diagnosis includes stroke, general weakness, lung problems needing rehab, or a leg amputation (below or above the knee).
  • You are medically stable.
  • You can understand the consent form in English (or have a translator or family member to help).
  • You do not have a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator.
  • You can sit or lie still for about 2 minutes for a body measurement.
