Who can take part

  • You have a goiter (diffuse or nodular), a toxic goiter (overactive thyroid), or thyroid cancer.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder that would make the procedure risky.
  • Your kidneys work well and you are not allergic to contrast dye.
  • You do not have severe blockages in your arteries that could prevent the procedure.
  • You are willing to give written consent to join the trial.
