Who can take part

  • You have a spinal cord injury in your neck area (cervical) from an accident or trauma.
  • Your breathing or lung function is not as strong as before.
  • You do not have a progressive disease (like ALS or multiple sclerosis) or a head injury.
  • You are not currently on a ventilator or have a tracheostomy tube.
  • You do not have a psychiatric condition that would affect participation.
  • You are medically stable enough to do breathing exercises.
