Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have had a spinal cord injury for at least 1 year.
  • Your injury is at level C3 to T8 and is incomplete (classified as B, C, or D).
  • Your breathing muscles are more than 20% weaker than normal.
  • You do not have other major health problems like heart or lung disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or active infections.
