Who can take part

  • Your baby was born before 28 weeks of pregnancy.
  • Your baby was on a breathing machine (ventilator) for at least 36 hours straight before the tube was removed.
  • Before the tube was removed, the average air pressure from the machine was 13 or lower (cmH2O).
  • After the tube was removed, your baby received breathing support through a mask or nose prongs for at least one hour.
  • Your baby does not have a major genetic, chromosomal, or birth defect that could affect breathing.
