Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have had a stroke (or are suspected of having one) within the last 72 hours (or 24 hours for later phases).
  • Your stroke must be caused by a blockage in a large artery at the front of your brain (confirmed by imaging).
  • You must not have any wounds or infections on your scalp.
  • You must be able to cooperate with the EEG (electrode cap) test.
