- You are scheduled for a planned (not emergency) first-time total knee replacement at a participating hospital.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You can speak and read Dutch.
- You do not do physical activity that leaves you out of breath for 5 or more hours per week.
- You have no other health conditions (like heart, nerve, or joint problems) that make moderate exercise unsafe.
- You do not have uncontrolled arthritis, psychiatric disorders, active cancer, or memory problems that affect understanding instructions.
