Who can take part

  • You are between 5 and 19 years old.
  • You have one of these autoimmune diseases: lupus with kidney inflammation, scleroderma, inflammatory muscle disease, IgA nephropathy, or steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome.
  • You have tried standard treatments (like high-dose steroids and at least two other immune-suppressing drugs) for several months and they have not worked or you cannot tolerate them.
  • Your organs (like bone marrow, liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs) are functioning well enough to safely receive this therapy.
  • You have not had CAR-T therapy before, and you do not have an uncontrolled serious infection or advanced heart/lung disease.
