Who can take part

  • You have moderate-to-severe Graves' eye disease (your eyes bulge and cause discomfort).
  • Your eye inflammation is currently low (CAS score of 3 or less).
  • Your thyroid function has been stable for at least 6 months (on medication, post-surgery, or post-radioiodine).
  • You don't have any major uncontrolled health problems (like severe heart or lung disease, or active cancer).
  • You don't have other eye conditions that cause bulging (like tumors or fibromas) or other serious eye diseases (like glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy).
  • You are willing to attend regular follow-up visits after surgery.

Atorvastatin for moderate-to-severe thyroid eye disease
