Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You have had neck pain for at least 3 months that is not due to a specific cause like a pinched nerve or arthritis.
  • Your neck pain is moderate to severe enough to score over 10 on a neck disability questionnaire.
  • You have abnormal shoulder blade movement (scapular dyskinesia) as described by a doctor.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 29.9, which is in the healthy to overweight range.
  • You have not had neck surgery, fractures, or inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.
