Who can take part

  • You had a stroke that affects the middle part of your brain (MCA) and are still in the early recovery stage (sub-acute, likely within weeks to months).
  • You are between 40 and 65 years old.
  • You have mild to moderate muscle tightness in your arm (spasticity level +1 or 1 on a 0-4 scale).
  • Your walking balance is limited (score less than 19 on a test called the Dynamic Gait Index).
  • You can understand and follow simple instructions, and you do not have other brain or mental health conditions.
